Student Ministry

“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.”

– James 4:8

St. Paul’s Student Ministry aims to be a place where middle and high school students are encouraged, challenged, and discipled in the faith. This often takes place through relationships, service, study, prayer, and retreats. At the end of the day, we simply want our students to “know Jesus and to make him known.”

Spring Retreat

April 17th-19th at Look Up Lodge

Each spring, youth from across North and South Carolina gather for a retreat filled with fellowship, worship, teaching, and fun. It’s one of our favorite weekends of the year because it brings together a diverse group of students and strengthens the bonds within our own St. Paul’s youth community.

Acolytes

Our acolytes assist in the Sunday worship service each week. Acolytes are responsible for carrying the cross during the procession at the beginning and end of the service, lighting and extinguishing the candles used during the service, and assisting the clergy during communion. Acolyting is a great way for students (6th – 12th grade) to serve the Lord, as well as the church body, at St. Paul’s Church.

If you are interested in being trained as an acolyte, please contact Ginny Milam at ginny@stpaulsgreenville.com.
