acolytes
At St. Paul’s Church, our acolytes assist in the Sunday worship service each week. Acolytes are responsible for carrying the cross during the procession at the beginning and end of the service, lighting and extinguishing the candles used during the service, and assisting the clergy during communion.
Acolyting is a great way for any of our students (6th - 12th grade) to serve the Lord, as well as the church body at St. Paul’s Church. If you are interested in being trained as an acolyte, please contact Ginny Milam. (ginny@stpaulsgreenville.com)
