To Know Jesus and Make Him Known

Our Leadership

Rev. Thomas C. Brown - Rector

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

I am so grateful that the Lord's plan included Greenville, SC!  After growing up in Columbia, SC. and living in the low country (Pawleys Island), the Lord has brought me to the upstate.  Following graduation from Clemson University in 1981, and seven years in South Florida working as an engineer,  his plan led me to the South Carolina coast in 1988. Through the nudging of the Holy Spirit, I attended a parish based seminary (All Saints Institute) in Pawleys Island which led to ordination.

While serving as Assistant Rector at All Saints, Pawleys,  the Holy Spirit nudged again to move to Greenville and plant St. Paul's Church.  In August 2011, Libby and I moved with our daughter Margaret, and began the next season of the journey!

Libby Brown - Lay Ministry Coordinator

I love to watch things grow!  And what a gift the Lord has given me in watching St. Paul’s Church grow: from a call to reality---from “Baby Greenville” to St. Paul’s Church.

As Lay Ministry Coordinator, I have the amazing privilege of watching the Lord build HIS church, one stone at a time.  (1Peter 2:5)  He knows the plans and purposes for the SPC Body of Christ and He is doing the calling and equipping for His plans to come to fruition.  Another blessing to me is watching people grow from one degree of glory to the next (2Cor 3:18) as they serve in their spiritual gifting. (1Peter 4:10)

My husband, T,  and I have been blessed beyond measure in raising three wonderful children:  Bennett, Thomas, and Margaret.  Watching them grow and growing alongside them has been JOY UNSPEAKABLE!!!

Rev. Joshua Fink - Assistant Rector

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 1 Corinthians 5:17

New relationships create new worlds--new ways of being. A marriage creates a new home and the birth of a child changes it again. New employers create new daily schedules and new governments create new societies. It makes perfect sense that a new relationship with the creator of the world would remake everything. My desire is to see people of all ages have a relationship with Jesus Christ that remakes their homes, jobs, schools and city and my awesome privilege at St. Paul's is to serve the community here unto that end.

I am blessed to be the husband of Annalisa and the father of Noah and Heidi. I have a bachelor's degree from Bob Jones University and an MA from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

Lisa Lane - Finance Director

Lisa Lane has an accounting degree from Furman University.  She is married to Mike Lane and is the busy mother of two boys, Ethan and Eric. Although she is a native of Michigan, she has lived in the Greenville area for the past 23 years. If she is not in front of her computer or reading, she is enjoying the mountains with her family and her two dogs.

Tom and Deb Bellamy - Worship Leaders

"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!"   Psalm 150:6

Tom and Deb are natives of Ohio, moving to South Carolina over ten years ago.
Tom’s background is in physical therapy, many styles of guitar and audio technology.  Deb has classical music training, but has always had one foot in the
commercial music world.

“It is amazing to us how God has taken these raw materials and molded them into a new form that brings Him glory!  He continues to guide us in a direction that blends together the old and the new.  The mission of St. Paul’s music ministry is to draw our community ever closer to the King of Kings, praising God as we use our voices in an expression of reverence     and joy.”

Kari Killen - Children's Ministry Director

“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”  Proverbs 22:6

I am a low country girl blessed that God has chosen me to be a part of His ministry at St. Paul's church, Greenville.  I am eager to answer His call and  to journey alongside the children of Greenville as they grow to Know Jesus and Make Him Known.

The Children's ministry of St. Paul's strives to teach children the promises of God through liturgy, object lessons, crafts and fellowship with one another.  It is my prayer that these children are building a strong foundation in their walk with the Lord and that they will carry this with them throughout their lives.

Chase Edgar - Director of Student Ministries

"He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8

Called to St. Paul’s in July of 2016, Chase comes to Greenville from Columbia, SC. There he received a BA in Public Relations from the University of South Carolina. He worked extensively with Young Life during college and lead a group at Dreher High School. Before coming on staff at St. Paul’s Chase worked for two years in a similar role at an Anglican church in Columbia.

Chase loves the outdoors, reading and spending time with people. He is married to his high school sweetheart Jessica.

St. Paul's Student Ministry is a place where middle and high school students can experience the kingdom of God. It is our goal to connect our faith with the way we live in the world through the study of God’s word, holistic discipleship, and fellowship with a community of young believers.
